Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. Mom loved to tell stories and I am sure that you may have a few on your own about mom. Please share them...we know that she will have a good chuckle....and the rest of us would enjoy reading about them. Thanks, Lori her oldest daughter

My Mom did love to tell stories - but here's one about her: Mom and Dad loved taking us kids camping. They bought a new tent, large enough to hold all seven of us, plus more! This thing was so big it had an east and west wing to it. Well,,,, she gets the idea that we need to be able to put this humongous tent up lick-a-de-split. She gathers the troops in the back yard, assigns each person a station along the tent footprint and the tent poles were color coded, we each were assigned a color. S-H-E has a stop watch. So here we go…. she dumps the poles out of the bag, each kid scrambles to get their color of poles, gets to their station – one – two –three, the tent rises up like magic. Yeah…. We did it… n-o-p-e….. not good enough! She says, “what if it’s raining, we have to be faster”, so….. we practice and practice until we get it right!!! Let me tell you, the Horetski Family put on quite a show when we rolled into a camp ground. She had us SOOoooo organized it was unbelievable. I’m very thankful for those times; mom and dad taught us a lot, and best of all, we’re all organized today!! Cheers ~ Kathleen

My condolences to the family. Sorry for your loss. The loss of a loved one is never easy, but it's God's way of releasing them from all pain and taking them to their eternal home in heaven with him.

My heartfelt condolences, belatedly, to Sharon's family. It was unusual that Sharon didn't reply this past fall to my email invitation to the Klein cousins annual reunion in Detroit / Windsor), so I suspected that that she may have passed away. I came across a followup email in my "sent" folder today, googled and found this obit. Sharon and my father, Bob (Robert) Klein (deceased 2002), were cousins. Her father and my grandmother, Kathleen Gross Klein, were siblings. Sharon used to keep in touch with my mother, Mary, and I know from the correspondence that she was very proud of her family. When I was trying to fill in some gaps in our family history, I contacted Sharon and we exchanged a number of emails. The information that she provided was very helpful, although it would appear that the fate of Edward Klein, husband of Laura and father of Kathleen, Juliet, Andy, Irene and Stephen, will remain a mystery. Sharon's response to the annual reunion invitation was always "hopefully next year". I'm sad that is not to be. Should any of her family like to connect with distant cousins, I'd gladly include you on the distribution list. Sincerely, Nina
